How does the renewal process work if I am an existing or former client?

Edited

The renewal process for existing Monster Plowing Company clients is structured, personalized, and non-automatic. Here's how it works:

๐Ÿ” Renewal Overview

  • Contract Terms: Clients may originally sign on for 1, 2, or 3-year contracts, depending on their preference and site needs. The longer the term, the more rate stability and potential benefits the client may receive.

  • No Auto-Renewal: Contracts do not automatically renew. At the end of the agreed term, the client must actively confirm their intent to continue service.

๐Ÿ“… Renewal Timeline

  • Renewal Season Opens: Late August marks the beginning of the renewal period each year. At this time, Monster begins reaching out to existing clients to confirm whether theyโ€™d like to renew their service for the upcoming winter season.

  • Client Contact & Quote Refresh: Each client receives a personalized renewal offer, which includes an updated seasonal rate (if applicable), along with a refreshed scope of work to ensure it still reflects the current needs of the property.

  • Adjustments & Updates: Clients can request adjustments to their scope, service areas, or even upgrade from Complete to Priority. Monsterโ€™s team confirms any changes before preparing a final renewal contract.

  • Finalization: Once the client approves the updated quote, a new seasonal contract is issued and signed. The client is then officially enrolled for the upcoming winter.

๐Ÿ’ก Notes for Returning Clients

  • Priority Access: Returning clients are given first priority when renewals open. Since capacity is limited (especially for Priority service), early renewal ensures a spot before routes fill up.

  • Rate Consistency: Clients who commit to longer-term contracts (2 or 3 years) often benefit from locked-in rates or reduced increases over time, offering stability despite inflation or service demand fluctuations.

In short, the renewal process is opt-in, highly personalized, and begins well before the snow fliesโ€”giving returning clients ample time to secure continued service and make any necessary changes to their winter maintenance plan.
