Can I request a specific time for snow removal?
Quick answer: Not a specific time — but our service packages have commencement windows tied to when the weather event ends. Our crews operate on real-time dispatch, so we can't promise "clear by 7am" the way a delivery service would.
Why exact times don't work
Snowfalls don't follow a schedule. If a storm ends at 2am, the clock starts ticking on everyone's service window at 2am. If it ends at 10am, the window starts then. A fixed "clear by X time" guarantee regardless of when snow stopped would either mean over-promising (can't be done) or over-pricing everyone for on-call dispatch.
What your package does guarantee
Your signed service agreement defines commencement windows — how quickly after a qualifying event ends we begin work at your property. Two package tiers available:
Complete Package — standard seasonal service with defined commencement windows.
Priority Package — faster commencement windows for sites that need earlier clearing.
Exact hours depend on your agreement. Check your contract or ask contact@monsterplow.ca.
Real-time dispatch in practice
During a storm, dispatch assigns crews based on zone snowfall intensity, live GPS positions, and property priorities. A property at the edge of a light-snow zone gets cleared faster than one in the heaviest band — our routes adapt as the storm moves.
Exceptions the contract covers
Extreme weather overrides (20+ cm events, back-to-back storms) and the first/last 3 weeks of the season waive timing guarantees — safety and crew training take precedence. Full details are in your service agreement.
