Can you clear snow off decks, patios, or rooftop areas?

Edited

Quick answer: In most cases, yes — but decks, patios, and rooftops must be explicitly requested at scope time and included in the service diagram. We use specialized tools and techniques to avoid damaging these surfaces, and access has to be safe for the crew.

What we service

  • Decks and patios — wooden, composite, or stone surfaces, cleared with tools that won't gouge or chip the material.

  • Ground-level rooftop areas where safe access is available.

  • Underground parking entrances and similar sensitive zones.

What we don't service by default

  • High or pitched rooftops — these typically require specialized rooftop crews, harness equipment, and separate safety assessment.

  • Any area where crew access isn't safe or clearly defined on the scope diagram.

How to add these areas

Flag them during the initial scope survey. To add an area mid-season, email contact@monsterplow.ca with photos and a description — we'll send a revised scope and proposal before any work is done.
