What should I do to prepare my property for the snow season?
Quick answer: Mark your driveway and walkway edges with snow stakes, keep gates unlocked during service windows, move outdoor furniture out of clearing zones, and tell us in advance about pets or obstacles.
Mark your edges
Snow stakes or reflective markers along driveways and walkways prevent turf or garden damage when visibility is low or snow is deep. This is the single highest-impact prep step — strongly recommended every year.
Keep access clear
Gates unlocked during service windows.
Vehicles parked so they don't block service areas.
Outdoor furniture, planters, and decorations moved out of clearing zones before the first snow.
Tell us about special situations
If you have pets that shouldn't be disturbed during overnight visits, a tenant with accessibility needs, or unusual site conditions, let us know before the season starts. Email contact@monsterplow.ca or note it during the quote process, and it gets recorded in our system and passed to the crew.
