Getting started

Visit monsterportal.ca to log in. No passwords required.

  1. Enter your email address on the homepage.

  2. Check your inbox for a one-time verification code.

  3. Enter the code, and you're in.

If you've ever requested a quote from Monster Plowing Company or Monster Property Services, you already have portal access. Your email is your key.

Your dashboard

Once logged in, you'll land on your dashboard — a real-time overview of your Monster accounts:

  • Welcome header — personalized greeting with the current active season (Winter or Summer) and quick access to your portfolio.

  • Alerts — important notices about your account (outstanding balances, seasonal reminders). Updates automatically as data loads.

  • Aggregate financial overview — if you manage multiple accounts, you see total invoiced, paid, and outstanding across all accounts.

  • Account cards — each account appears as a card with account name, your role, real-time financial snapshot, billing entity count, and quick-access buttons to portfolio or billing.

  • Request a new quote — prominent button to start a new winter or summer proposal for any property.

The Portfolio

The Portfolio is where you view, review, and sign service proposals. Supports both Winter (Snow & Ice Maintenance) and Summer (Lawn & Garden Care) services.

  • Season & year selector — switch between Winter and Summer, browse current or past seasons.

  • Unified quote cards — each property displayed as one card with version switcher if multiple proposal versions exist.

  • Proposal statuses — Ready for Approval, Signing Started, Signature Verified, Contract Approved, Creation In Progress, Changes Requested, Declined, Past Proposals. Each has a distinct visual treatment.

  • View & sign — review active proposals in full and sign online via DocuSign directly from the portal.

  • Scope of Services — detailed site map showing exactly which areas receive service, along with service specifications.

  • Download documents — proposal PDF, scope of work diagram, or signed contract, any time.

  • Request scope changes — submit scope change requests directly from the quote card.

Billing

  • Account summary — total invoiced, paid, and outstanding. Full breakdown of contracts, extra charges, subtotals, HST, and payments in a collapsible detail view.

  • Billing Entities — if your account has multiple billing entities (e.g., a property management company covering multiple sites), each appears separately with its own financial totals and invoice list.

  • Invoice viewer — click any invoice to view as PDF with invoice date, due date, status, and amount outstanding.

  • Active contracts — signed contract number, signing date, contract term for every approved contract.

  • Activity log — chronological record of activity on your account.

Contact settings

Owners and Admins manage who has access to the account and what notifications they receive:

  • View all contacts — everyone associated with your account, their role, and notification preferences.

  • Manage Billing Entity access — control which contacts can view invoices and billing info for each billing entity.

  • Notification preferences — which contacts receive billing notifications, service updates, and weather alerts.

  • Add or remove contacts — update access as needed.

Orders and history

The Orders section provides service order and delivery history associated with your account, including product orders from the Monster online store.

Requesting a new quote

  1. Click Request a New Quote from your dashboard or sidebar.

  2. Choose Winter Snow & Ice Maintenance or Landscaping & Property Maintenance.

  3. Select an existing property from your account, or enter a new address.

  4. Provide details about property type, requirements, and preferred service package.

  5. Submit. Our sales team prepares a customized proposal and notifies you by email when it's ready to review.

Account roles & permissions

  • Owner — full control including ownership transfer. One Owner per account.

  • Admin — manages contacts, billing, and service settings. Cannot transfer ownership.

  • Billing — view billing information and invoices for billing entities they have access to.

  • Service — view service-related information and order history.

  • Guest — view proposals and sign contracts only.

Roles can be combined — a contact can have both Billing and Service access.
