Do you have live video access into your trucks during service?

Edited

Quick answer: Yes. Every plow truck and major piece of equipment has multi-camera dashcam (front, cab-facing, rear) with live streaming to dispatch. Footage is retained for 90 days. Supervisors can review live or after the fact for quality verification, driver safety, and client service verification.

What the camera system captures

  • Front-facing: road conditions, site approach, and work in front of the truck.

  • Cab-facing: driver behaviour, including fatigue and safety protocol adherence.

  • Rear-facing: reversing visibility and trailing vehicles during service.

  • Live streaming: dispatch and supervisors can watch any vehicle in real time.

  • Recording: all footage archived with 90-day retention.

How the footage gets used

  • Live operations: supervisors monitor live for safety and service quality during storms.

  • Post-event review: any flagged issue triggers footage review against GPS and visit logs.

  • Client service verification: clients can request footage for insurance claims, slip-and-fall investigations, or audits — within the 90-day retention window.

  • Driver coaching: patterns across footage feed into training.

Request footage by emailing contact@monsterplow.ca with your account name and the date/time window.
