What is a qualifying snow or ice event?

Edited

Monster Plowing Company's service is triggered automatically based on weather conditions. Here's how we determine when to dispatch:

Snow Events

  • Trigger threshold: 1 cm of accumulated snowfall triggers a service dispatch

  • This is automatic: You do not need to call, email, or request service

  • 24/7 monitoring: Our operations team monitors weather conditions around the clock and dispatches crews when thresholds are met

Ice Events

  • Freezing rain, sleet, and flash freezes all qualify as ice events

  • Deicing is applied automatically when ice conditions are detected

  • No accumulation threshold — any ice formation triggers deicing response

What Doesn't Trigger Service

  • Light dustings under 1 cm that melt quickly

  • Rain that does not freeze

  • Fog or mist without ice formation

Heavy Storm Protocol

During extended storms or heavy snowfall:

  • Complete package: Multiple visits are triggered at 8 cm accumulation

  • Priority package: Multiple visits are triggered at 5 cm accumulation

This ensures your property stays accessible even during prolonged storm events.
