What are the cameras on your trucks for?

Edited

Quick answer: Every truck has continuous multi-camera recording. We use it for quality assurance, safety incident review, crew training, and as an objective record of what happened on-site. Video is retained 90 days, stills multi-year.

What the cameras cover

Multi-camera systems record during operations — cabin, forward road view, and (on applicable units) rear/side views. Recording is continuous during service, not motion-triggered.

How the footage gets used

  • Quality assurance — supervisors review footage to verify service quality and crew practices.

  • Safety incident review — if an incident occurs on or near a property, we can reconstruct what happened.

  • Training — real-world footage coaches crews on technique and safety.

  • Client protection — objective record of what happened at each visit, available if there's ever a dispute.

Retention and access

  • Video: retained 90 days.

  • Stills: retained multi-year — available for older claims.

  • Footage is stored securely and accessed only for operational purposes. Clients can request footage tied to their own property's visits — email help@monsterpropertyservices.ca.
