How does the quote process work for new clients?
Monster Plowing Company uses personalized flat-rate seasonal pricing, not a one-size-fits-all model. The cost for each client depends on specific property factors such as:
Total area to be serviced (driveways, parking lots, walkways, stairs)
Site complexity (e.g. number of access points, obstructions, layout)
Type of surfaces (interlock, asphalt, concrete, rooftop, etc.)
Level of service selected (Complete or Priority)
Frequency of required visits (e.g. higher-traffic vs. light-use properties)
Location and ease of access for equipment and crew
The pricing is custom-quoted based on these elements. However, once a quote is finalized and accepted, the client pays a fixed flat rate for the entire winter season. This price includes unlimited snow clearing visits and all required deicing, regardless of how many storms occur or how severe the winter is.
Quoting Process
Initial Inquiry: Prospective clients fill out an online quote request form or contact Monster directly.
Property Evaluation: The sales team reviews the property using satellite imagery, site photos, or may conduct a site visit for more complex locations.
Scope Definition: The team defines the exact areas to be serviced, service triggers, and any special requirements (e.g. sensitive surfaces, restricted access hours).
Package Selection: The client chooses between the Complete or Priority package based on their needs and desired response times.
Customized Quote: A tailored quote is generated, detailing the seasonal price and services included. The quote may be broken into monthly payments for convenience.
Contract Finalization: Once accepted, the client signs a seasonal service agreement, locking in the flat-rate coverage for the winter.
This process ensures pricing reflects the true needs of each site while providing predictable budgeting and comprehensive coverage throughout the season.
