How do I read my invoice?

Quick answer: Each invoice shows the billing period, your installment amount, HST (13%) as a separate line item, and the total due. Your installment amount stays the same every month regardless of how much it snows — that's how flat-rate seasonal pricing works.

Invoice components

  • Invoice number: unique identifier for the billing period.

  • Account name: your name or business as registered.

  • Service address: the property being serviced.

  • Billing period: the month or period the invoice covers.

  • Seasonal contract total: full-season flat-rate price for reference.

  • Installment amount: monthly payment due for this period.

  • HST: 13% sales tax, shown separately.

  • Total due: installment + HST.

  • Due date: when payment is expected.

  • Payment instructions: how and where to submit payment.

What to remember

  • Installment stays constant every month, regardless of snowfall totals.

  • HST is always itemized separately (don't mistake the pre-HST amount for the total due).

  • Previous payments and outstanding balances may appear at the bottom.
