What happens if I sell my property mid-season?
Quick answer: You have two options: transfer the contract to the new owner (both parties must agree) or cancel under standard terms. Tell us as early as possible — the sooner we know, the more options.
Your options
Transfer the contract — with our agreement, service can transfer to the new property owner. Both parties must consent and we'll coordinate the handoff. Typically the cleanest outcome for you; the new owner takes over where you left off.
Cancel the contract — standard cancellation terms apply. Written notice required, prorated billing, any cancellation fees per your signed contract.
What to do
Contact us as soon as you know a sale is pending — don't wait until closing day.
We'll walk through the transfer vs cancellation options based on where you are in the season.
If transferring, we coordinate directly with the new owner to update account details and billing contacts.
New owners inheriting a Monster contract
If you've bought a property with an existing Monster contract, the previous owner can transfer service to you. Email contact@monsterplow.ca (winter) or help@monsterpropertyservices.ca (summer) to set up your account and confirm service continues.
